GLADYS LEE, MD
Dr. Lee graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and received her medical degree from Boston University. She completed a Combined Medicine and Surgery Internship at Newton Wellesley Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital and her Ophthalmology Residency at Brown University Alpert Medical School.
Before joining Dr. Renna and assuming the leadership role at Monadnock Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Lee was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Vermont and practiced ophthalmology at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
Dr. Lee specializes in sutureless, small-incision cataract surgery and is experienced in oculofacial plastic procedures. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is on the medical staff of Monadnock Community Hospital. Dr. Lee is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and she also speaks Spanish.
CATHRYN L. WELCH, MD
Dr. Welch graduated from the University of Nebraska and received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. She completed her Ophthalmology Residency at Tufts University-New England Medical Center and her Cornea and External Disease Fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Welch has been practicing ophthalmology in Peterborough, New Hampshire since 1999. Prior to that Dr. Welch was an Assistant Professor of Surgery specializing in Cornea and External Disease at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and performed LASIK and laser refractive surgery.
In addition to practicing comprehensive ophthalmology, Dr. Welch continues to specialize in cornea and external disease and performs glaucoma laser procedures, small incision cataract surgery and cornea surgery. Dr. Welch is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is on the medical staff of Monadnock Community Hospital.
